Argumentative Essay Topics - Should You Use Arguments For Animals? In many courses on argumentative writing, students are taught that argumentative essays include a wide variety of essay topics, such as child abuse and violence. They are also taught that to be persuasive in these kinds of topics, they need to have some tools at their disposal. One tool that these students need is animal topic essay help. But is there really a need for this kind of help?
As a debate coach, I often find myself arguing against the use of arguments for animals topics in college. I do not use it as much as some other coaches do, but when I do, I am sure it is because I believe in teaching students to think critically. That is probably one of the reasons that I am not a big fan of using animal topics in your argumentative essay. It is not clear to me that students learn the tools of critical thinking by using argumentative essays. The tools are certainly there if they are used, but they have to be used correctly. If I were a student who wanted to get into the college debate scene, I would want to make sure that animal topics were avoided in my argumentative essay. I am not sure that this would be a good idea. If a student did get into college debate, I would want them to know that animal topics are off limits. They might argue that this might be an effective way to 'lay some groundwork' before they really made their own argumentative essay. However, for me, it would be better to go a different route altogether. Instead of getting 'argumentative essay help' for these types of topics, I would encourage my students to use the resources available to them to make a good argument and then I would evaluate it for truthfulness. It would be much more effective for me to study the facts than to just read someone else's opinion on an animal topic. So should you avoid arguments for animal topics in your argumentative essay? I do not think so. On the contrary, I think that you should consider using it sparingly and carefully. You need to keep in mind that there are many more arguments out there than your average person has time to read and analyze. Most people just do not have the time to read through 100's of arguments. Another reason to steer clear of an argument for animal topics in your essay topic is that when you do use it, you need to be careful not to fall into the trap of doing 'bluffing.' Bluffing occurs when you take something for granted or even tell a false story. This is certainly not what you want to do in any kind of debate. Do not fall into the trap of making an argument for animal topics just because someone has said something about animals. You want to show how humans can look past certain facts in order to make a positive case for something. That is something that most people are not capable of doing. Instead, you need to show how animals can be great, useful animals. In conclusion, I do not think that argumentative essays including argumentative essays for animal topics are necessary. When used sparingly, they can be very effective. If used properly, however, they should be avoided entirely.
